Even though shipbuilding has advanced from the days when wood was used to build ships, carpenters are required to be a part of the shipyard. They still have an important role to play in the industry.

Our employees in this role are responsible for the fabrication and/or assembly of joiner components on marine vessels. Fabricates, assembles, installs, or repairs wooden furnishings in ships or boats according to blueprints, using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
